Eligibility Criteria for Obtaining a Driving License in Goa

A person who has attained the age of 16 can obtain a driving license for motorcycle not exceeding an engine capacity of 50cc.
A person who has attained the age of 18 can obtain a driving license for light motor vehicles.
A person who has attained the age of 20 can obtain a driving license for heavy motor vehicles such as taxis, auto rickshaws.
The person applying for a permanent driving license has to possess a learner’s driving license.

How to Apply for a Duplicate DL in Goa?

An applicant can apply for a duplicate driving license in Goa only if his driving license is lost, stolen or misplaced.

How to Renew Driving License in Goa?

A driving license issued in Goa is valid for a period of 20 years or until the age of 50. On expiry of the driving license, the applicant will have to renew the driving license within 30 days from the date of expiry.

The applicant will have to submit the below documents for obtaining an International Driving Permit in Goa:
