Land & Land Reforms and Refugee Relief and Rehabilitation Department

This is one of the divisions of Banglarbhumi which caters to refugees and their rehabilitation. The function of Refugee Relief and R Directorate and District RR is as follows:

Rehabilitation of Refugees - Provide Free Hold Title Deed for homestead plots in urban areas and homestead as well as agricultural plots in rural areas to the refugees from Bangladesh in approved RR colonies.
Refugee Colonies - Provide basic civic amenities such as construction of roads, brick pavement, sewerage system, culverts, provision of drinking water and connectivity of roads in approved refugee colonies.
Relief Measures - Provide cash dole, food grains, garments, blankets, cooked food, etc., to a number of refugee families residing in the existing 8 camps across West Bengal.
Revenue Generation - Generate revenue by way of leasing out of water bodies, shops, markets and vacant land under custody of this department.

About Banglarbhumi.gov.in plot Information Request

Know your property details by following the mentioned steps:

Visit the official website of Banglarbhumi, select the menu tab on the left of the website.
Select Know Your Property option from the menu tab.
Click on Khaitan and Plot information option.
Choose your district name from the dropdown list.
Select your block/mouza name.
Select either of the options - search by Khaitan number of Plot number.
Click on submit and the information will be displayed accordingly.

Banglarbhumi RS-LR Plot Information

You can know all the details of Revisional Settlement and Land Reform (RS-LR) plot information from the following steps.

You can visit the Banglarbhumi portal or wb registration website.
Select the DLRS or Citizen Services Tab, then select the Banglarbhumi RS-LR plot information.
Select your district name, block name, and mouza name from the list of options.
The new page will display two options - Sabek Dag -> Hal Dag (LR Plot No.) and Hal Dag-> Sabek Dag (RS Plot No.).
Simply select your preferred option and click on submit.
Post submission, all the details will be displayed on the new page. You can take a printout of the same.

As a citizen, during the state of land registration, every landowner must use Banglarbhumi ROR Request. To know more about the details of ROR follow the below steps:

Visit the official homepage (ePortal) of Banglarbhumi.
From the Kaitan/land info page, you need to select the must-see page.
In the new page, you need to enter your district, name, and mouza map details accurately.
Before you register the land details, you need to make an ROR production.
Enter your plot number and click on the submit button.
Post submission, you will be able to view the details of your land, if the records are available.

ARTI - Analysis, Research Training Institute

This division is a permanent venue for holding training on Surveys and Settlement under the aegis of Directorate of Land Records and Surveys, Govt. of West Bengal. This institute provides training on survey and land reforms to personnel from government departments and other states. The institute holds seminars and conferences on land reforms regularly. Also, this institute has a massive central library which has a huge collection of books and documents on land matters.

LMTC - Land Management Training Centre (LMTC)

Inaugurated on 29th April, 2010, this is a training centre in Berhampore town of Murshidabad district, under the cap of the Land Department. This is a hostel designed to accommodate 64 trainees, trainers, guest house and academy building.
