All you need to do is log in to the UIDAI official website by offering the enrolment number mentioned at the acknowledgement slip. This slip is given at the time of Aadhaar card enrolment. Steps to Get Duplicate e-Aadhaar Card Online

When you do not carry the acknowledgement slip, you may find the enrolment number from the UIDAI site. Aadhaar can be found by visiting the Aadhaar Enrolment Centre too. As mentioned earlier, you can get a duplicate Aadhaar card copy when you have lost/misplaced your Aadhaar card.

Follow Through:

  • Approach official UIDAI website at resident.uidai.gov.in/find-uid-eid

  • Give information like the name, email address and mobile number registered with UID.

  • Feed in the security code as displayed on the screen and click on the “Get OTP” button.

  • OTP will be sent to the person’s registered mobile number/e-mail address.

  • After receiving the Aadhaar number or enrolment id, the user may visit the website at aadhaar.uidai.gov.in/

  • You are asked to choose your Aadhaar Number (UID) or Enrolment ID (EID)

  • Feed your Aadhaar number or Enrolment ID, full name, pin code, security text as shown in the tab and mobile number.

  • OTP is sent to registered mobile number.

  • Feed the OTP received on mobile in the “Enter OTP” tab and select “Validate and Generate”

  • Aadhaar will be Generated as a PDF file.

Steps to Get a Duplicate e-Aadhaar Card Offline

You can also get a duplicate copy of Aadhaar card offline by either visiting the Aadhaar Enrolment Centre or by dialling the toll-free number. All you need to do is call the UIDAI’s toll-free number 1947 and ask for a duplicate Aadhaar. Then follow the following steps:

  • Dial UIDAI’s on toll-free number 1800-180-1947 or 1947

  • Go through the IVR options and select the option to speak to the Aadhaar executive.

  • Initiate a request to the executive for a duplicate copy of your Aadhaar card.

  • The executive demands a few questions to check your identity.

  • Upon verification, the executive will approve your request and start the process.
