Driving License in Kota

• Then click on apply
• You will be directed to Ministry of Road Transport and Highways website parivahan.gov.in
• Select the name of the state- Rajasthan
• Click on ‘apply online’, then select ‘new driving license’, and click on ‘continue’
• Fill in the applicant details
• On submission of the form, an SMS will be sent which the applicant will require during the time of the DL test.
• The applicant then further continues with uploading the documents, his photo and signature online.
• Once the documents are submitted, the applicant can also book the driving license test slot online and also pay the applicant fees online.
• The applicant will then have to appear for the driving test on the selected date and time.
• If the applicant passes the test, he will be issued the driving license.

Offline application process to apply for a driving license in Kota

If the applicant does not wish to apply for a DL online, then he can do so offline directly at the RTO office in his jurisdiction.

• Visit the nearest RTO office.

• Fill and submit the form with the required documents.
• Pay the application fees.
• Book a slot for the driving license test.
• Appear for the test on the scheduled date and time.

An applicant will have to renew his driving license in Kota after 20 years from the date of its issuance or on attaining the age of 50, whichever is earlier. A driving license issued for a commercial or transport vehicle is subject to renewal after 3 years from the date of issue. Grace period of 30 days is given to a DL holder to renew his driving license and if the applicant applies for renewal after the grace period, then an additional fee is charged.
