Claim Process of Kotak General Insurance

Motor Insurance

Call 1800 266 4545 (8 a.m. – 8 p.m.) or submit Claim Intimation Form on the Kotak General Insurance Company website to inform about your claim along with your policy details.

Cashless claims process step by step

  • After reporting the claim, a vehicle inspection will be conducted within 24 hrs if reported on a working day. The inspection will take place on the next working day of reporting on Sunday or a public holiday.
  • All relevant required documents to be submitted as per terms and conditions.
  • Cashless confirmation and settlement will be done directly at the preferred network garage.
  • Pay the deductible as mentioned in the policy and take delivery of the vehicle from the network garage.

Reimbursement claims process step by step

  • After reporting the claim, a vehicle inspection will be conducted within 24 hrs if reported on a working day. The inspection will take place on the next working day of reporting on Sunday or a public holiday.

  • If the case is approved, the bill will be settled up to the approved amount at the time of discharge. If the case is not sanctioned pay the bills and submit the claim in reimbursement mode.

Cashless Claims at Network hospital (Emergency Hospitalisation)

  • Visit cashless helpdesk within 24 hrs of hospitalisation. Fill the pre-authorisation form and submit along with the required medical documents and photo ID.
  • If the case is approved, the bill will be settled up to the approved amount at the time of discharge. If the case is not sanctioned, pay the bills and submit the claim in reimbursement mode.
