Regional Transport Office of Khanna works as per the provisions of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988. The Khanna RTO is headed by a transport commissioner who is responsible for providing safe and steady transport related services to the citizens of the city. Khanna RTO is responsible for providing various transport related services such as collection of taxes, grant of permits, issuing a driving license and others.
A vehicle insurance policy is mandatory for every vehicle registered at Khanna RTO as per The Motor Vehicle Act, 1988.
