Aadhaar is compulsory to avail a number of services and to authenticate various documents. How do I find my SRN?
SRN is Service Request Number. SRN is just like the URN. The only variation is that you receive the SRN when you update the Aadhar details in online mode. SRN is required for checking update status, when you’ve updated via online.
You need to enter details to verify the status, initially the 12 digit Aadhaar card number which is found on your card and secondly the URN/SRN series that was given to you at the time of applying for changes.
How do I get an URN number?
Gather the required correction documents pertaining to name, age, gender, address etc. Go to Aadhaar online update portal. Now you will see the two boxes, first box is for Aadhaar number and second is for registered phone number. You receive OTP once you’ve filled the required details; just input the mobile number OTP.
