Chola MS Critical Healthline policy is a benefit plan which offers fixed benefit (a lump sum amount of compensation equal to sum insured) up on diagnosis of any critical illness. The lump sum amount offered is irrespective of the hospitalization or recovery expenses. Thus, it would help to overcome financial loss over and above the hospitalization expense. The Critical Healthline plan has two variants namely Standard and Advanced. The main difference between the two plans is the number of illnesses covered. Given below is the detailed structure of benefit offered under this plan.

Some of the important features of Chola MS Critical Healthline are:

1. It gives an individual option to choose from two variants namely Standard or Advanced.

2. The Advanced variant of this plan covers emergency ambulance expense post diagnosis of critical illness.

3. Critical illness cover under Advanced variant includes coverage for Parkinson’s disease and motor neuron disease showing permanent symptoms.

Scope of cover –

1. The individual between age 5 years up to 65 years can be covered in the plan. There is no pre-policy health checkup up to age 55 years for healthy individual without any pre-existing disease. However, for those having pre-existing conditions a health checkup might be required before policy is issued.

2. Sum insured– There are three sum insured options available for both the variants each of INR 3,00,000; INR 5,00,000 and INR 10,00,000 respectively.

The Chola MS Critical Health Insurance's Healthline policy offers coverage for 10 - 12 critical illnesses.

HEALTH CHECK-UP-

This plan reimburses 50% of the amount spend on pre-policy health check-up.

Value adds

AMBULANCE CHARGES –

The Advanced variant of this plan offers coverage for ambulance expenses up to INR 1000 per policy year.

Exclusions –

Waiting Period –

1. To claim this benefit a waiting period of 90 days post commencement of policy is applicable for both the variants. However, this period is waivered off after timely renewal.
