What does pre-policy check up a stand for?

If the policyholder’s age is 40 years, the person needs to undergo pre-policy checkup. However, there are other two factors for undertaking this case,

  • Choosing SI Rs. 6 lakhs or more
  • Having critical disorder optional cover in between the age of 18 and 65 years National Insurance Company will pay 50% of the cost incurred due to the pre-policy checkup.

What are the reports to be submitted for a pre-policy checkup?

For the check-up, you may submit a physical examination report verified by a doctor having minimum MD qualification. You also need to submit Lipid profile, ECG, urine routine and microscopic examination, HbA1c, eye check-up and serum creatinine.
