The plan covers the expenses towards all day-care procedures that would otherwise require hospitalization of a minimum of 24 hours.
For every claim-free year, you will be entitled to 5% cumulative bonus for the next policy year up to a maximum of 25%.
Compensates for the Pre-Hospitalisation expenses for consultations, investigations and medicines incurred up to 30-60 days before Hospitalisation depending on the plan.
Compensates for the Post-Hospitalisation expenses for consultations, investigations and drugs incurred up to 60-90 days after discharge from Hospitalisation depending on the plan.
If you are currently insured with a different insurer and wish to switch to Bharti Axa’s Smart Health Insurance Policy, you can do the same without losing your accrued benefits after the waiting periods.
You can avail tax benefits for the premium amount paid towards this plan under Section 80D of the Income Tax Act,1961.
Depending on the sum insured you have opted for, you can get a daily cash allowance up to a specified limit.
Under this benefit, you can get compensated up to an extent of previous year’s minimum sum insured.
Covers many critical illnesses like cancer, first heart attack, bypass surgery, kidney failure, stroke and so on.
The plan allows you for a complimentary health check at the block of every four claim free policy years up to a 1% of sum insured.
Compensates you up to a specified limit for each hospitalization towards the emergency ambulance services.
You can avail treatment at home up to the base sum insured. There are certain terms and conditions related to this privilege, and you can refer them in the policy wordings.
For any reason, should you decide not to proceed with the policy, you can return the same and request for a refund within 15 days from the date of receipt of the policy document.
A 30 days cooling off period for all claims except any arising out of accidental injuries and 60 days in case of critical illness
The policy covers some specific diseases/treatments only after 24 months. These include Cataract, Hysterectomy, Myomectomy for Fibroids, and so forth.
You can claim for any pre-existing conditions after 48 months from the policy start date.
