Zero Depreciation: A zero-depreciation cover, also known as nil depreciation or a bumper to bumper insurance cover, pays the whole cost of external care body repairs or replacement, without taking into consideration any depreciation in the value of the car parts.
Engine Protection Cover: This add-on provides cover for repair and replacement of engine parts like connecting rods, pistons and others.
NCB Protect: This stands for No Claim Bonus. This add-on guarantees that you are eligible for the NCB even after raising a maximum of 2 claims in one year.
Invoice Protection Cover: An invoice protection cover, also known as a return to invoice value cover, is an add-on that provides complete financial security to your car. The entire claim settle process is conducted online. The claim process at Acko car insurance is as follows:
Step 1: In case of an accident, you need to register your claim by calling up Acko’s helpline number at 1860 - 266 - 2256 and drive your car to the nearest garage or get it towed.
Step 2: Once the claim is registered, a surveyor is assigned within 24-48 hours.
Step 3: You need to provide the relevant KYC details – RC Book, PAN card, Aadhaar card, DL, Claim information Form, Policy Copy and a repair estimate.
Step 4: Once the surveyor has assessed the damaged car and KYC, they will either reject or accept the claim. The repair works begin only post approval.
Step 5: Once the repair work is finished, a survey is done followed by a delivery order and the car is delivered to your doorstep.
The entire process of insurance renewal can be done online, there is no offline method to renew your policy.
