The Mahindra XUV 500 is a mid-size, SUV manufactured by Mahindra & Mahindra. It was designed and refined at Mahindra's design and vehicle-build center in Nashik and Chennai and is produced at Mahindra's Chakan & Nashik plant. Its design is motivated by the fastest land animal, the cheetah.The XUV500 can reach a top speed of 178 km/h with an acceleration of 0–60 km/h in 5.4 seconds and 0–100 km/h in 12.5 seconds. Its fuel mileage is 16 kmpl on highways and 13.8 kmpl on the city roads.
The Mahindra Xylo is an MUV designed and produced by Mahindra & Mahindra. The Xylo was introduced in India on 13 January 2009 at Nashik. Four variants, D2, D4, H4, and H8, are presently available.
