Bharat 22 ETF Investment Objective

Bharat 22 ETF strives to replicate the S&P BSE Bharat 22 Index by buying the same stocks in the same proportion as they are in the index. It tracks the S&P BSE Bharat 22 Index that constitutes 22 stocks of Public Sector Banks, Central Public Sector Enterprises and strategic holdings of Specified Undertaking of the Unit Trust of India.

The index is devised to track stocks of companies chosen by the Indian government for their divestment program. The weightage of every individual stock is limited to 15% and each sector is capped at 20% of the total index weightage. The index’s constituents can be revised on a yearly basis.
