SBI Infrastructure Fund

SBI Infrastructure Fund is an open-ended equity scheme that invests in infrastructure and allied sectors. Its investment objective is to provide investors with opportunities for long-term growth in capital. This is to be attained via active management of investments in a diversified basket of equity stocks of establishments indirectly or directly involved in the infrastructure growth in the Indian economy and in money market &debt instruments.

About SBI Funds Management: The Company is a joint venture between India’s largest bank, State Bank of India and a French asset management company, AMUNDI. It has 30 years of experience in fund management, and a network of more than 222 points of acceptance across the country.

Features of SBI Infrastructure Fund

The features of SBI Infrastructure Fund are as follows:

  • SBI Infrastructure Fund invests a minimum of 80% in stocks of establishments related to the infrastructure sector.
  • Investments will be made in stocks of companies involved in the following businesses – cement, coal, construction, airports, banks, financial institutions & NBFCs, electrical components, metals & minerals, engineering, energy, industrial capital goods, ports, power, road & railways, telecommunication, commercial vehicles, transportation, urban infra, housing, industrial manufacturing, logistics service provider etc.
  • The minimum investment to be made is Rs. 5,000. The minimum amount for additional purchase is Rs. 1000.
  • SBI Infrastructure Fund has two plans viz. Regular plan and Direct plan.
  • The fund's benchmark index is Nifty Infrastructure Index TRI.
  • The risk level of SBI Infrastructure Fund is high.
  • There is no entry load. For exit within 1 year from the allotment date, the exit load applicable is 1%. The load for exit after 1 year from the allotment date is nil.
