Hyosung GT

General Information:

In the series of superbikes available in Indian market, the Korean manufacturer has a significant contribution to it from its much acclaimed GT series. First introduced in 2010, the GT series has been able to grab the market in a decent manner. With its three options: GT250R, GT650R and GT650N the customers are offered with a varied range.

  • The instrument cluster of GT seems dated but in terms of finish the bike is lagging behind from the Japanese manufacturers
  • The seat cover material, plastic texture on the instrument control, the finishing of the ignition key slot, material used for the grab rails doesn’t give the impression of a “Premium” offering
  • The tail lamp section comes with red LEDs that further comes integrated with clear lens turning blinkers
  • The overall dimensions of the bike measures 2090 -2095 mm X 700 mm X 1130-1135 mm (L X W X H) and the wheelbase measures 1435-1445 mm that leads to improved stability
  • An aggressively rising, chrome plated exhaust unit look stunning and gives some masculine genes to the bike

Power & Performance:

The range of potent engine choices given by the Korean manufacturer open gates for assured adventure and thrill to the customers in an effective manner.

Braking & Handling:

  • The GT250R has been assisted with 110/70 -17 54h front and 150/70 -17 69h rear grippy tubeless tyres that offer a superior on-road adhesion and hence delivers optimum stability on any kind of surface
  • Hyosung GT 250R avails a smooth and comfortable ride with the help of inverted telescopic forks at the front and progressive linkage hydraulic mono shock suspension at the rear
  • The braking is done via dual 300m hydraulic disc brakes at the front and 230mm hydraulic single disc brake at the rear
  • The sportbike riding position is ensured by torso set close over the tank in a pronounced lean manner down to the handlebars
  • The significant wheelbase of the bike further results in improved stability and handling of the bike at high speed

What To Opt For:

  • The bike comes with three engine options and each variant of GT demands to get a zero-dep cover
  • Considering the power output of the bike one must get a significant comphrehensive policy for the bike along with third party cover
  • ·A significant sum insurance will again be a wise decision for Hyounsung GT
