There are two kinds ofcar insurance policiesavailable - Third Party Liability Only Car Insurance Policy and Comprehensive Car Insurance Policy.

Zero Depreciation cover (also called bumper-bumper or parts depreciation cover):When a vehicle is damaged, the complete cost of replacement is not given since depreciation gets deducted from the claim amount. However, with this add-on, the policyholder will get the full value of cost of repair or replacement provided. This is better suited for cars that are less than 5 years old.
Return to Invoice:This add-on will allow the policyholder to get the ex-showroom price or last invoice value in case the car gets stolen or is completely damaged. Return to invoice covers the gap between the IDV and the car's invoice value. IDV is lesser than the invoice value on account of depreciation that occurs over the years.
Engine and Gear-Box Protection:A comprehensive car insurance policy does not cover engine damage, unless the damage occurs at the same time as the accident. With this add-on, a consequential damage to the engine will be covered. For example - if a policyholder's car is towed roughly, causing damage to the engine or gearbox, this add-on will cover the repair cost.
Breakdown Assistance cover:This add-on provides 24*7 road assistance for one's car up to 500 kms from the city. It covers situations like flat battery or tyre, minor repairs, accommodation benefits, medical coordination, legal assistance and towing facilities.
Tyre Protect cover:This add-on covers common situations where an accidental damage occurs to only the tyre and not the car. It covers instances like tyre bursts, bulges or cuts, which causes the tyre to be unfit for use.
Policyholders are entitled to a No Claim Bonus (NCB) if no claim has been made or pending during the preceding year(s). The NCB applicable is as follows:

The claim settlement procedure of Go Digit Car Insurance is as follows:
Step 1:Enter Vehicle’s Make, Model, Variant, Registration Date and city (where the applicant is residing in). Click on ‘Get Quote’ and select the choice of plan.
Step 2:Pick between a third-party liability only cover and a standard package.
Step 3:Submit details about previous insurance policy - date of expiry, claim made in the last year and no claim bonus earned.
