If the owner of the vehicle decides to shift to Gujarat from a different state, they need to register their vehicle with the Gujarat RTO. This process required an NOC from the previous RTO, with many forms, and the vehicle must be brought for inspection. After inspection and payment of fees, the vehicle will be registered with Gujarat RTO. These documents are required to be filled and submitted.

If the owner is shifting permanently, a declaration has to be made in the Form FT.
